Sneak Peak Inside the Fox Valley’s Newest Event Space “Copper Fox”

It’s been months in the making, but Copper Fox is finally showing signs of life!

I had a chance to take in the soft opening of Geneva’s newest banquet location. It’s on Third Street where Wildwood used to be — adjacent to the very popular Barrel and Rye.

It’s the brainchild of the team behind Foxfire Restaurant in downtown Geneva, so my expectations were VERY HIGH, and they did not disappoint!

As soon as you walk in you notice the attention to detail and the beauty of the space. It’s just the place you want your own events to be at because you know people will remember it for years to come!

I made my way to the bar and got myself some Penrose beer (local Geneva brewery!) while my beautiful date for the evening had a glass of wine. By the way, they have like 20 wines ON TAP! Awesome!

We strolled on into the larger dining room where live music was filling the air…then the food came. And oh…my…god. The only probably with the food was that there wasn’t enough for me! They were passing out appetizers, but I needed full plates of this stuff! We had the best chicken and waffles! The bacon burger was crazy good! Bacon wrapped dates better than any other bacon wrapped date ever. This is food you don’t forget!

Honestly though, as wonderful as the decor and food are, that’s not what makes Copper Fox so great. It’s the people who run it. KC Gulbro and his family are the most caring, generous and friendly people. The kind of people you want to be associated with. They are a family business that will make you feel as if you have been a member of that family for years. If you love Foxfire as much as I do, you’ll love their new space at Copper Fox.

If you have an event coming up this Spring, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not at least look into Copper Fox as the host!

*Full disclosure: I am am paid endorser of Copper Fox, but even if I wasn’t I’d have to tell you about this place!*
