Dolly Parton finally revealed the guest stars featured on her new rock album that’s coming this fall.  And there are even more than we thought.

It’ll have 30 songs on it (THIRTY!!!). Nine are originals and 21 are covers. Even crazier than the number of songs, is the number of A-list guest stars from all eras and genres!!

They include:  Elton John . . . Melissa Etheridge . . . Lizzo . . . Sting . . . Steve Perry . . . John Fogerty . . . Kid Rock . . . Steven Tyler . . . Stevie Nicks . . . Joan Jett . . . Chris Stapleton . . . Miley Cyrus . . . Brandi Carlile. . . Pink . . . Debbie Harry . . . Emmylou Harris . . . Sheryl Crow . . . Pat Benatar . . . Michael McDonald . . . Nikki Sixx . . . and Richie Sambora.

Also, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr helped on a cover of “Let It Be”.  So, it’s got a mini Beatles reunion.  Peter Frampton and Mick Fleetwood are also on that one.

Frampton is the only person featured on more than one song, and he talked about how that happened in a new interview.  He says he really wanted to be involved, so he had his manager reach out to Dolly’s people! First, Dolly’s producer asked him to do a guitar solo on “Let It Be”.  Then Dolly also wanted to cover his song, “Baby, I Love Your Way”, so he helped out on that too.  He says it’s “phenomenal,” and Dolly took it to “a whole other level.”

The album is called “Rockstar”, and we also have an official release date now.

It’ll be out November 17th, but the first single lands TOMORROW.  It’s an original called “World on Fire” that she’s also performing at the “ACMs” tomorrow night.  She and Garth Brooks are co-hosting the show.

Other songs on the album include “Purple Rain” . . . “Stairway to Heaven” . . . “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” . . . “We Are the Champions” . . . and “Free Bird”. Check out the entire track list below!

Of course, you’ll be able to get this on vinyl…a 4-disk vinyl, in fact. And in very Dolly fashion, they will come in multiple colors and with various album covers.
