Maybe invite them all to your wedding, behind your mom’s back? That’s just the case for Sophie, who finds out she has three possible dads, in Westmont Performing Arts’ (WPA) production of “Mama Mia”.

Hey it’s Chris Miles!

It’s summer and that means it’s time for local theater groups to hold their annual summer musical. This year, WPA is presenting “Mama Mia”.

Here’s what WPA website says about this show:

“ABBA’s timeless songs create this tale of love, laughter, and friendship. On a Greek island paradise, a young woman searches for her father on the eve of her wedding. Three men from her mother’s past return to the island they last visited twenty years ago. A large cast, non-stop laughs, explosive dance numbers, and the original girl-power trio combine to make Mamma Mia! a show you won’t forget.”

Many of you know this theater group holds a special place in my heart because I made my return to local theater (after a 20 year hiatus) with their production of “Inherit The Wind”. I encourage you to come check out WPA’s production of Mama Mia starting June 14-16 and June 21-23 at Westmont High School, 909 Oakwood, Westmont.

Here’s a link to get tickets and I’ve posted some more pics below.

As an added bonus, you might even see me, as I lend my “lighting” talents to the show.
