You’ll Start Feeling Tired at 1:04 P.M. Today . . . Here Are the Top Things That Give Us a Boost

Three in five Americans say they’re more exhausted than ever.  And the average worker will hit a wall at 1:04 P.M. today.  So, just after lunch.

The top reasons we’re always tired include bad sleep . . . long hours . . . too much screen time . . . our KIDS zapping all our energy . . . and the fact that the pandemic is still making things more complicated in general.

So what will YOU do when you hit that wall at 1:04 P.M.?  The poll looked at the top things that give us a boost of energy at work.  Here are the top five . . .

1.  Chit-chatting with a coworker.  49% of people said random conversations with friends at work tends to perk them up.

2.  Getting up and walking around for a few minutes.

3.  A change of scenery.

4.  Leaving your desk to get coffee or food.  (I’m a little surprised caffeine didn’t rank higher . . . especially since Monster Energy commissioned the study.)

5.  Having a structured routine in general.  So you can tick things off your list, and know you’re getting through your day.
