Our friends at Talking Cities Aurora continue to uncover the best stories from in and around Aurora. If you swing through the Fox Valley Mall, you’ll be able to see one of the best success stories face-to-face.
His name is Paris Burns. He grew up in Chicago and was faced with tragedy and loss on all sides. He didn’t give in to his environment. Instead, his basketball skills earned him a spot at UIC and his work ethic earned him a degree. After some reflective time, his concept-turned-business — FMF: Family Means Forever — is a store inside the Aurora mall.
It’s an inspiring story certainly worth sharing.
